We believe each child is not only a Gift but also "Gifted"!

At Holy Child we believe that " Each child is gifted and that each child has a special need!" We average a class size of 12 to 15 children which allows for a diversity of instructional strategies to meet the learning style of the student. Beginning in Preschool and continuing through the Levels children are encouraged and challenged to make continual progress through the curriculum. Extra curricular activities focus on expanding the progress through age appropriate, hands on activities both during and after school endeavors. Faith formation is the reason for our being which include our weekly Children's Mass, daily religion classes and opportunities to plan the Class Mass and participate fully in all of the liturgical celebrations of the year, especially those which fall on a week day,

Teach as Jesus taught ...since 1948! " using 21st century teaching tools.

When we open school on August 25th a fiber optic Internet connection will enable us to add video conferencing, online classes and educational (virtual) field trips enhancing the way we meet our curriculum goals and objectives. What we have added is known as a "blended learning" approach in education circles. A blended learning environment offers the best of both worlds - a physical meeting place where teaching and learning is scheduled in face to face classrooms and where other courses are conducted online in a computer lab or customized learning space.

Blended Learning environments, as they operate today, are still bound by space and time with traditional school schedules, but they create a new and exciting option for today's students. We continue our educational ministry to " Teach as Jesus taught ...since 1948! " using 21st century teaching tools.
